Mitsubishi EV Prototype to Tackle Pike's Peak

Electric vehicles sometimes get an unfair reputation as lacking in the power department, but Mitsubishi is out to prove that EVs are sometimes capable of extreme feats. Recently, the auto brand announced its intent to race  a modified version of its new Mitusubishi i-MiEV all-electric vehicle up Pike's Peak, a tall, race-ready mountain trail in Colorado used in the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (a.k.a. The Race to the Clouds), and we believe it will be successful in doing so!

2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Labeled 'Top Safety Pick'

The 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has received the highest safety award available; it has been named a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) after rigorous testing. Testing methods include a side impact test, a rear crash protection test, a frontal offset test, and a roof strength test. Ratings are labeled as "Good," "Acceptable," "Marginal," or "Poor." To become a Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn a "Good" rating in all four tests.
