Mitsubishi Nav-less i-MiEV

The American version of 2011's Mitsubishi i-Miev is about one foot longer and just over 4 inches wider than the Japanese model on sale overseas. The interior in America's i-MiEV appears upgraded for this market too, with the noticeably absent in-dash navigation system.

Does this mean navigation won't be a standard feature in the i-Miev? We haven't heard yet - but the car will make its way, fully stocked to the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Mitsubishi has confirmed a plug-in hybrid SUV is under development, and could reach markets around 2013. The new Mitsubishi SUV hybrid version will be made of the next-generation Mitsubishi Outlander, and that version of its new powertrain will go into a next-generation Lancer Evolution.

Mitsubishi Headed into Brazil

Mitsubishi has already taken over much of North America as a top automotive dealer in both Canada and the United States. What to do next? Why not head down to South America and take on an entirely new continent.

Mitsubishi announced plans this week to expand its electric vehicle plant in Brazil. The company is currently in talks with the country's government over the launch of their new electric car, the i-MiEV.

Mitsubishi Testing Electric Pickup

Mitsubishi is already pretty busy making waves in the green car field, as the iMiEV begins appearing on dealership lots in other countries - and will make its way to the United States as early as next year.

Mitsubishi Motors will start field tests of an electric pickup and delivery vehicle prototyped this month.

According to sources; the prototyped vehicle will be deployed in Yamato Transport's delivery center in Tokyo Oct 15, 2010. And the?
